Summary

CVE-2023-20133 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the web interface of Cisco Webex Meetings. This issue allows authenticated, remote attackers to inject malicious scripts into the interface of a user, exploiting insufficient input validation in Webex Events (classic) programs, email templates, and survey questions. The attacker could persuade a user to click a malicious link, leading to the execution of arbitrary code in the context of the interface or the access of sensitive browser-based information. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to the security of Webex Meetings users and requires prompt action to mitigate the threat.
