Summary

CVE-2023-20041 refers to multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities found in the web-based management interface of Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC) Software. An attacker, without authentication, can exploit these flaws by inserting malicious code into data fields. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute arbitrary scripts in the user's context or access sensitive browser-based information. Furthermore, in some instances, the vulnerabilities may lead to temporary availability issues on affected FMC Dashboard components.
