Summary

CVE-2023-1717 is a prototype pollution vulnerability affecting Bitrix24 version 22.0.300. Attackers can exploit this issue by manipulating the `__proto__[tag]` and `__proto__[text]` properties in the script.js file located in the bitrix/templates/bitrix24/components/bitrix/menu/left_vertical directory. By doing so, they can inject and execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the victim's browser. If the victim holds administrator privileges, the attacker may also be able to execute arbitrary PHP code on the server side. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, as it can allow attackers to gain unauthorized access and control over the affected system.
