Summary

CVE-2022-4023 is a vulnerability affecting the 3DPrint WordPress plugin before version 3.5.6.9. This issue stems from the plugin's failure to secure against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks in the integrated Tiny File Manager. An attacker can exploit this weakness by crafting a malicious request that tricks an admin into submitting a form, enabling the creation of an archive of any targeted files or directories on the server. The predictable location and name of the generated archive make it possible for the attacker to download the sensitive file, such as the WordPress configuration, containing database credentials and secrets, if they know the time of the form submission.
