Summary

CVE-2021-4436 is a vulnerability affecting the 3DPrint Lite WordPress plugin before version 1.9.1.5. The issue lies in the plugin's p3dlite_handle_upload AJAX action, which fails to implement proper authorization checks or validate uploaded files. Consequently, unauthenticated users are able to upload arbitrary files to the web server. It is important to note that an .htaccess file present on certain web servers, such as Apache, can prevent unauthorized access to these uploaded files.
