Summary

CVE-2021-4424 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability affecting the Slider Hero plugin for WordPress. Versions up to 8.2.0 are susceptible to this issue. The vulnerability stems from insufficient nonce validation on the qc_slider_hero_duplicate() function. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit this flaw by crafting malicious requests, which if successful, can trick site administrators into performing actions such as duplicating slides. This can lead to unintended modifications or compromise of the affected WordPress site.
