Summary

CVE-2021-4417 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Forminator plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.13.4 are impacted by this issue. The root cause is the lack of proper nonce validation on the "listen\_for\_saving\_export\_schedule()" function. An attacker can exploit this flaw by tricking a site administrator into performing an action, like clicking a malicious link, which in turn allows the attacker to export form submissions without authentication. This poses a significant security risk as sensitive data can be accessed or stolen.
