Summary

CVE-2021-4404 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Event Espresso 4 Decaf plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 4.10.11 are susceptible to this issue. The weakness lies in the plugin's ajaxHandler() function, where nonce validation is missing or incorrect. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can manipulate site administrators into performing actions, such as opting into notifications, through forged requests.
