Summary
CVE-2021-4400 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Better Search plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 2.5.2 are susceptible to this issue. The root cause lies in the faulty or missing nonce validation on the functions bsearch_process_settings_import() and bsearch_process_settings_export(). Consequently, unauthenticated attackers can exploit this vulnerability by tricking site administrators into clicking on malicious links, enabling them to import and export settings unlawfully.
