Summary

CVE-2021-4399 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Edwiser Bridge plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 2.0.6 are impacted, due to insufficient nonce validation on certain functions. This includes user_data_synchronization_initiater(), course_synchronization_initiater(), users_link_to_moodle_synchronization(), connection_test_initiater(), admin_menus(), and subscribe_handler(). An attacker can exploit this flaw by crafting a malicious link that, when clicked by a site administrator, could lead to unauthorized actions being carried out, such as data modification or account creation.
