Summary
CVE-2020-36828 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting DiscuzX versions up to 3.4-20200818. This issue, classified as problematic, resides in the show_next_step function of install_function.php. An attacker can exploit this cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability by manipulating the argument uchidden. The exploit can be executed remotely. To mitigate this risk, DiscuzX users are advised to upgrade to version 3.4-20210119, which includes the patch with the identifier 4a9673624f46f7609486778ded9653733020c567.
