Summary

CVE-2020-36754 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Paid Memberships Pro plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 2.4.2 are at risk. The issue arises due to insufficient nonce validation on the pmpro_page_save() function. This flaw enables unauthenticated attackers to save pages on affected sites by tricking administrators into performing a specific action, such as clicking on a malicious link. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized content modifications. Upgrading to the latest version of the plugin is recommended to mitigate this risk.
