Summary

CVE-2020-36753 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Hueman theme for WordPress. Versions up to and including 3.6.3 are susceptible to this issue. The root cause is the absence or incorrect implementation of nonce validation in the save_meta_box() function. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can manipulate metabox data by tricking site administrators into performing specific actions, such as clicking on a malicious link. This vulnerability poses a serious risk to websites using the Hueman theme and should be addressed promptly by updating to a patched version.
