Summary

CVE-2020-36745 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the WP Project Manager plugin for WordPress. Versions up to 2.4.0 are impacted by this issue. The root cause is the missing or incorrect nonce validation on the do_updates() function. Consequently, unauthenticated attackers can exploit this flaw by tricking a site administrator into clicking a malicious link, leading to unintended plugin updates.
