Summary

CVE-2020-21485 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Alluxio version 1.8.1. An attacker can exploit this issue by injecting malicious code into the path parameter of the browse board component, allowing them to execute arbitrary scripts in the context of the affected user. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to data theft or unauthorized system access. Users are strongly urged to update to a patched version of Alluxio to mitigate this risk.
