Summary
CVE-2000-0461 is a vulnerability affecting the semaphore system in BSD. The undocumented semconfig system call, which is not part of the official API, can be exploited by local users to cause a denial-of-service condition. By manipulating this call, they can freeze the state of semaphores, thereby disrupting the normal functioning of the semaphore system.
