Summary

CVE-2000-0446 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the MDBMS database server. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted long string to the server, resulting in the buffer being overwritten. This allows the attacker to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the affected process. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized access, data theft, or system compromise.
