Summary

CVE-2000-0428 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting InterScan Virus Wall version 3.32 and earlier. An attacker can exploit this weakness by sending a specially crafted email with a long filename for a uuencoded attachment. The overflow occurs during the processing of this filename, enabling the attacker to inject and execute arbitrary commands on the target system. This issue poses a significant risk as it can lead to system compromise and potential data theft.
