Summary
CVE-2000-0415 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting Outlook Express 4.x. Attackers can exploit this issue by sending a maliciously crafted email or news message with a .jpg or .bmp attachment having an excessively long file name. Upon opening the message, the software fails to handle the extended length, leading to a denial of service.
