Summary
CVE-2000-0280 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting RealNetworks RealPlayer versions 6 and 7. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending a maliciously crafted Location URL. The buffer overflow leads to a denial of service condition, preventing the user from accessing the media player. This issue poses a risk to systems that use the affected RealPlayer versions and could be exploited through specially crafted media files or links.
