Summary

CVE-2000-0183 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting ircII 4.4 IRC (Internet Relay Chat) client. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending specially crafted data through the DCC (Direct Client-to-Client) chat capability. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the vulnerable system, potentially leading to unauthorized access or system compromise.
