Summary
CVE-2000-0030 is a vulnerability affecting the Solaris dmispd service. This issue permits local users to surreptitiously add files to the /var/dmi/db database used by dmispd. The accumulation of these files can fill up restricted disk space, potentially causing system instability or denial of service. Exploitation of this vulnerability does not require elevated privileges, making it a significant security risk for affected systems.
