Summary
CVE-1999-1568 is a vulnerability affecting old versions of NcFTPd FTP server up to 2.4.1. An attacker can exploit an off-by-one error in the PORT command processing to trigger a denial-of-service condition. By sending a specially crafted PORT command, the attacker can cause the server to crash, resulting in a service interruption. This issue poses a risk for organizations that have not yet updated their NcFTPd installations to a secure version.
