Summary
CVE-1999-1562 is a vulnerability affecting older versions of gFTP FTP client, specifically those below 2.0.0. This issue allows an attacker to gain unauthorized access to a system, as passwords are recorded in plaintext within the log window or log files. This poses a significant risk, as an attacker can easily intercept or access the log files to obtain sensitive information.
