CVE-1999-1513

Summary

CVE-1999-1513 is a vulnerability affecting the Management Information Base (MIB) of 3Com SuperStack II hubs running software version 2.10. Instead of being properly restricted, an object identifier (.1.3.6.1.4.1.43.10.4.2) in the MIB is accessible using a read-only community string. However, this same MIB incorrectly lists all community strings in its entirety, potentially enabling unauthorized users to gain access to sensitive information or perform unauthorized activities on the affected hubs.
