Summary

CVE-1999-1485 is a vulnerability affecting the Network Information Service Daemon (nsd) in IRIX 6.5 through 6.5.2. The issue allows remote attackers to access a virtual filesystem exported on a UDP port by the nsd service. This exposure can lead to the disclosure of sensitive information and potential denial of service attacks through the mounting of the nsd virtual file system.
