Summary
CVE-1999-1448 is a vulnerability affecting Eudora and Eudora Light email clients before version 3.05. This issue allows remote attackers to cause a crash and corrupt the user's mailbox by sending specially crafted emails with invalid dates. Specifically, emails with dates before 1970 or 100 years after the current date can lead to a Divide By Zero error or segmentation fault, respectively. This vulnerability could potentially result in data loss or unauthorized access to sensitive information.
