CVE-1999-1419 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the nss_nisplus.so.1 library in Solaris 2.3 and 2.4's NIS+ implementation. Maliciously crafted input data can cause the library to exceed its buffer capacity, leading to arbitrary code execution.
