CVE-1999-1389 is a vulnerability affecting US Robotics/3Com Total Control Chassis with Frame Relay versions 3.6.22 to 3.7.24. The issue lies in the lack of proper access filter enforcement when the "set host prompt" setting is configured for a port. This permits attackers to bypass restrictions by providing the hostname twice at the "host: " prompt, thereby gaining unauthorized access.
