Summary
CVE-1999-1336 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting the 3Com HiPer Access Router Card (HiperARC) versions 4.0 through 4.2.29. Malicious actors can cause the router to reboot by flooding it with Internet Authentication (IAC) packets sent to the telnet port. This issue may result in service disruption and potential downtime for affected networks.
