Summary
CVE-1999-1212 is a vulnerability affecting in.rlogind in SunOS 4.0.3 and 4.0.3c. This issue grants local users unauthorized root privileges, posing a significant security risk. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a maliciously crafted packet to the vulnerable system, allowing them to bypass access control and elevate their privileges.
