Summary

CVE-1999-1070 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the ping CGI program in Xylogics Annex terminal service. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted query parameter that exceeds the intended buffer size. The result is a denial of service, as the affected system becomes unresponsive due to the buffer overflow. This vulnerability poses a risk to systems running the Xylogics Annex terminal service and can be exploited remotely.
