Summary
CVE-1999-1060 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting Tetrix TetriNet daemon version 1.13.16. Malicious actors can trigger this issue by connecting to the daemon on port 31457 from a host with an abnormally long DNS hostname. Successful exploitation may result in a denial-of-service condition, and potentially, the execution of arbitrary commands. Network administrators are advised to update their TetriNet installations as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
