Summary

CVE-1999-1019 is a vulnerability affecting the SpectroSERVER component in Cabletron Spectrum Enterprise Manager 5.0. The issue arises due to insecure permissions during directory tree installation, enabling local users to replace a critical executable (processd) with a malicious Trojan horse.
