Summary
CVE-1999-0918 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting various Windows systems. Maliciously crafted, fragmented Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) packets can cause the affected systems to become unresponsive. This issue arises due to the way these systems handle fragmented IGMP messages, leading to memory corruption and system crashes, effectively denying legitimate access to the impacted systems.
