CVE-1999-0770 is a vulnerability affecting Firewall-1 software. This issue arises from Firewall-1's prolonged timeout for connections initiated with ACK or other packets aside from SYN. An attacker can exploit this weakness by overwhelming unresponsive systems with a large volume of connection attempts, leading to a denial of service.
