Summary

CVE-1999-0763 is a vulnerability affecting NetBSD operating systems on multi-homed hosts. It allows malicious ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) packets on one network to manipulate ARP entries on another connected network. This can result in traffic redirecting to the wrong IP addresses, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data interception. The vulnerability exists due to a lack of proper filtering of ARP packets between different network interfaces. Network administrators should apply the relevant patches to mitigate this risk.
