Summary

CVE-1999-0747 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting BSDi Symmetric Multiprocessing (SMP) systems. When the system experiences high CPU load, an fstat call can result in a denial-of-service condition. This issue arises due to a processing issue in the SMP kernel, causing it to become unresponsive and unavailable to users.
