Summary
CVE-1999-0424 is a vulnerability affecting the Netscape 4.5 web browser. This issue permits a local user to manipulate the talkback feature, resulting in the overwriting of arbitrary files belonging to another user. If a user's Netscape browser crashes, the attacker can exploit this vulnerability to write unintended data to the affected user's files.
