Summary

CVE-1999-0357 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Windows 98 and other operating systems. An attacker can cause a service disruption by sending specially crafted "oshare" packets. These packets may contain invalid fragmentation offsets, leading to system instability and ultimately, a denial-of-service condition.
