Summary
CVE-1999-0274 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Windows NT DNS servers. Maliciously crafted packets containing responses to unmade queries can cause the servers to crash, resulting in a denial-of-service condition. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending the malicious packets to a target DNS server, causing it to become unresponsive and unable to provide DNS resolution services.
