Summary
CVE-1999-0170 is a vulnerability affecting Ultrix and OSF systems. Despite being denied access in the system's access list, remote attackers can still mount an NFS (Network File System) file system on these platforms. This issue arises due to a flaw in the NFS server implementation that fails to adequately enforce access control lists, potentially allowing unauthorized access and data theft.
