Landmark agreement establishes new framework to bolster malaysia’s cybersecurity efforts

Kuala Lumpur, 17 October 2024 – Recorded Future, the world’s largest threat intelligence company, and CyberSecurity Malaysia, today announced the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), establishing a new framework for their collective fight against emerging cyber threats.

The MoU was signed by the Chief of Staff of Recorded Future, Mr. Jonathan Luff, and the Chief Executive Officer of CyberSecurity Malaysia, YBhg. Dato' Ts. Dr. Haji Amirudin Bin Abdul Wahab FASc. Meanwhile, the official MoU exchange ceremony was conducted by Mr. Jonathan Luff, Chief of Staff of Recorded Future, and YBrs. Roshdi bin Haji Ahmad, Chief Operating Officer representing CyberSecurity Malaysia.

The MoU underscores the commitment of both parties to strengthening the nation’s cybersecurity in the face of increasingly complex threats. Through this MoU, emphasis will be placed on enhancing analytical, organizational, and technical capabilities to ensure Malaysia’s cybersecurity remains at the highest level in the future.
